Types of cosmetic dentistry treatments: what treatments do we perform?

At Dr. Enzo Yuruvich’s clinic in Estepona, we offer a variety of treatments that are in high demand, such as veneers and ceramic caps, teeth whitening, correction of dental malocclusions, treatment of root cavities, replacement of amalgams with composites, etc.

Many people wonder which of these treatments is the most suitable for their particular situation. That is why, before starting any procedure, we meet with our patients to discuss and analyze their expectations and carry out an aesthetic study of their smiles.

Dental veneers

Dental veneers are thin veneers made of materials such as porcelain or composite.

They are placed over the front surface of teeth to improve their aesthetic appearance and can correct imperfections such as discolorations, stains, wear, fractures, tooth shape, or size, thus providing a more uniform and attractive smile.

Veneers can be a long-lasting and effective solution to improve your smile.

At the clinic, we use Emax veneers, made from lithium disilicate glass, an all-ceramic system that makes it a very aesthetic and durable material.

We also use Lumineers veneers.

Tooth whitening

Tooth whitening is a treatment that is used to whiten the colour of teeth several shades and remove possible stains and discoloration.

It can be carried out in a cosmetic dental clinic or at home using products that we indicate to you from the clinic.

At our clinic, we use Philips Zoom laser whitening, a tooth whitening procedure that uses specific chemical components to lighten tooth enamel.

Zoom can remove yellowing of the teeth, discoloration caused by coffee, wine, tobacco and aging and generally lighten any tooth stains.

The active ingredient of the LED-activated Zoom whitening gel is hydrogen peroxide with a concentration of 25%.

This treatment should always be carried out in an aesthetic dental clinic.

Invisible orthodontics

Invisible orthodontics is an effective way of aligning teeth with practically invisible braces.

In our clinic we use fixed, removable and aesthetic orthodontics, depending on each particular case and we treat both adults and children.

We also recommend check-ups for the youngest members of the family as a preventive measure, in order to make an early diagnosis of malocclusions, because the earlier they are detected, the easier it is to correct them.

Dental reconstructions

Dental reconstructions are dental procedures performed to restore the form, function and appearance of damaged or decayed teeth. These procedures can include various techniques, such as dental fillings, crowns, bridges, dental implants and dentures.

• • Crowns: Crowns are caps that are placed over a damaged or weakened tooth to restore its shape, size and strength. They are used to cover teeth that have been endodontically treated or where a dental implant has been placed.

• • Dental bridges are used to replace one or more missing teeth. They consist of artificial teeth attached to crowns that we place over the teeth adjacent to the space that has been left empty.

• • dental implants are titanium devices that are inserted into the maxillary or mandibular bone to replace the roots of missing teeth. On top of the implants
    we place an artificial dental crown to restore the function and appearance of a natural tooth.

• • Dentures are used to replace several missing teeth. We restore the anatomy of one or more teeth. These dentures are gum-supported and can be removed and repositioned as needed. We use removable prostheses such as resin and Nobilium skeletal prostheses, together with fixed prostheses made of zirconium ceramic.
